Hi JetBackup Team and community,

I would like to bump this request with a powerful use case that highlights why adding native support for ApisCP is a massive business opportunity for JetBackup 5's cross-panel restoration engine.

Right now, hosting infrastructure costs are heavily driven by control panel licensing fees. Many of us are looking at ApisCP because it is a highly secure, self-healing platform that provides enterprise-grade multi-tenant isolation (cgroups) out of the box—without the need for expensive CloudLinux licenses. It is an incredible stack for cost optimization, but the lack of migration tools slows down mass adoption.

Currently, I am building a custom Laravel-based module for my clients' billing panel so they can trigger migrations between cPanel/DirectAdmin and ApisCP with a single click. To achieve this, my current backend workflow has to upload backups to Cloudflare R2, extract them, and spend dozens of hours writing custom code to programmatically map and move files, databases, and emails into ApisCP’s specific directory structure.

This is exactly where JetBackup 5 could completely change the game.

Since JetBackup 5 uses an agnostic backup format capable of cross-panel restorations (like moving accounts between cPanel and DirectAdmin), adding ApisCP support would turn JetBackup into the ultimate universal translation bridge. JetBackup already knows the structure of cPanel/DirectAdmin; it just needs to learn where those assets should land inside ApisCP.

If JetBackup adds native ApisCP support, it would save developers like me hundreds of hours of complex API programming and manual migration labor. More importantly, it would position JetBackup as the indispensable, go-to tool for thousands of hosting providers worldwide looking to offer seamless, panel-agnostic migrations to cut down on licensing costs.

Since this feature has been "Under Consideration" for a while, are there any updates or technical blockers on the roadmap?
