Arrange backups so that the reseller main account is restored first

There should be a way to arrange each backup in a sequence so that the reseller main account is restored first and then the clients.


I think this would be the most awaited feature as many times when a reseller wants to migrate a large whm account with many accounts you have to do it manually as they don’t have root access to directly migrate them.


Please consider this feature as I have been using jetbackup ever since the launch and this was the most awaited feature but wasn’t added.

We are excited to announce the release of JetBackup v5.2.2 on the EDGE Tier! This release includes the addition of Default Reseller/User Restore and Download Priorities. Now when multiple accounts are queued for Restore and Download, Reseller Accounts will have higher priority to be processed.

Resellers will have the priority value of 10050 by default and Users will have the priority value of 100050 by default. The lower priority values get processed first when in the Queue. You may also set custom priorities with the use of Account Tags and Queue Priority Groups.

Thank you for providing your valuable and honest feedback regarding JetBackup Restores. I would like to note that our developers have an open internal issue that matches this feature request. JB5Base Case #935 will add different level restore priorities for each account type, i.e. admin/reseller/user. This way, when queuing multiple accounts for restore from the Restore and Download page, JetBackup will begin the restore of Reseller Accounts first and then other User Accounts. We are expecting this feature to be available on the next JetBackup 5 release (v5.2.1) which will be available first on the EDGE tier within the next 1 - 3 weeks. Please stay up to date with our JetBackup 5 Changelog and our JetBackup 5 Release Notes to see when JB5Base Case #935 is resolved and available on the EDGE tier.
