Override 999 Backup Retention Limitation

It would be great to see the ability to override the 999 backup retain parameter as to allow grater retention periods for backups thereby extending usability in offering custom backups with long retention periods.
Allowing a system admin to override the set limit of 999 with a check box & double confirmation would be great as a measure to prevent accidental high numerical values being utilised.
Once the checkbox & confirmation is confirmed this would then unset the 999 hardlimit.
