Webmin - Virtuslmin
Under Consideration
Hello, I want a Jet Backup plugin for Webmin / Virtualmin Control panel. Iam using it in several Dedicated Servers and now cloud Servers. Could you please develop a plugin for this Control panel? Thank you.

I am installing Webmin now because I have wanted to leave cPanel for years and I'm finally ready to move to Webmin. I can't keep these awful server costs with horrible cpanel and forced changes continually. So it's time to go. Now that I'm moving my server I will set it up with webmin.
I like Jetbackup, so having this work with Webmin will be great so I can continue to use it. I am a paid subscriber since the start.

I delighted to see this is "Under Construction". I truly hope so and that it is really the case.
I manage 100 servers. Of those servers there are 12 cPanel servers and 20 Virtualmin servers. We have JetBackup for most most of the cPanel servers, and we use the built-in backup for all of the Virtualmin servers.
The built-in backup for the Virtualmin servers is a slow and not very efficient. It used to be called "incremental" but they changed it to "differential" because that's what it really is. It's a simplistic `tar` command that compresses the latest files for web and email into a `tar.gz`, and a full database dump, per site. It's super slowand it's not so easy user friendly to navigate.
The user-friendliness and efficiency of JetBackup and especially the JetBackup Management console will make a huge difference in my life.
So let's hope this feature is really under construction. Since cPanel raised their pricing since 2022 multiple times and jacked the 1 user package, Virtualmin has become a lot more attractive to our users. I really hope JetBackup has shed some of their cPanel/WHM/WebPros roots and are willing to support a competitor's panel!
PS. to the forum administrator. Would you mind updating the title of this feature request title and the tag to the correct spelling? It's actually Virtualmin, not Virtuslmin nor Virtyualmin.
