Add Support for Email Accounts on Child Node Server in cPanel

Maitreya Patni shared this idea 21 months ago
Under Consideration

cPanel added support for Child Node Servers to be setup as external mail servers in version 98.

Please ass the support in backing up email accounts from Child Node Server. Currently JetBackup 5 shows backup failed for accounts with linked child node server.

Thanks.

We have been putting in tickets for over a year on this feature and they say it's under development, but nothing in the blogs indicates that it's anywhere on the roadmap unfortunately.

Hello JetBackup Team, we have 8 Annually license direct from you and 59 monthly jetbackup license from cPanel Partner program.

For this year we must start with external mail child nodes, because our customers need this critical.

We have open a ticket for over a year and has become the answer that you are already working on this. But after more than one year, this feature is not implemented.

This is a critical feature, many cPanel users use the Mail Child Nodes for his setup. Without a backup solution for this, we can not use Mail Child Nodes.

If this feature is not final in 2 month, we must change to another backup solution!
