Export/import configs, destinations manually

Already Exists

Just in case we have to set up another server due to a failure or just a new server, it would be a HUGE time saver to be able to export destination configs (i.e. Wasabi, etc.) and the JB5 config so that we could just import those into a new JB5 install we can get thing up and running quickly.

This would be a huge problem solver for server failures.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and opening a feature request! We just wanted to let you know that this feature is already a part of JetBackup 5 as a part of our latest release (v5.3.3) to public ALPHA! To export the config file, you can use the following command: 

# jetbackup5 --export
Then, to import your config, you can run the following command: 

# jetbackup5 --import /path/to/exported/config

Hello Eric,

JetBackup v5.3.4 was just released to EDGE and is currently our next stable release candidate which is expected to be released by the end of Q4 2023. Generally, we allow at least 1 month between tiers and may change our stable candidate depending on the feedback we receive for each release.
