Support daylight saving time
Under Consideration
DST affects a lot of systems.
On the last Sunday of March, time moves forward, meaning 07:00 will actually be 08:00.
On the last Sunday of October, time moves an hour back, meaning 07:00 will actually be 06:00.
We have backup job that needs to run at 07:15 exactly. JetBackup doesn't support DST, resulting in the backup job running at an incorrect time twice per year.
We have a few external systems that depends on this backup running exactly at 07:15. Running an hour in advance or an hour late is causing problems for us.
