Add support for daily/weekly/monthly rotation in same or multiple jobs

Currently in JetBackup if I want to offer 7 daily, 4 weekly and 2 monthly backups, it will currently result in storing all files 3 times (1 for daily, 1 for weekly, 1 for monthly).

It would be nice if a "snap" would get tagged for being a weekly or monthly archive point (like you have in R1Soft e.g.).

The main issue is currently we want to offer longer term backups, and it is possible but our storage requirements would double due to how deletion of backups currently work.

We already working on a multiple schedules for one backup job.

Hi,

We should release JetBackup 3.2.X Branch to public edge in a couple of days, this will introduce the new core but same functionalities.

Full release is estimated in about 6 months.
