Auto Enable JetBackup for Reseller throught WHMCS
Completed
Hello,
I have added Backup access/restore (JetBackup) as an addon in WHMCS with my reseller hosting. Now if any client purchases this addon along with WHM, I have to manually select the new reseller -> Edit Reseller Nameserver & Privileges and enable JetBackup from the list.
Instead there could be a module in WHMCS which will activate JetBackup along with the reseller directly after processing the order.
Should help many hosting companies!
Hi,
It's not a JetBackup issue, inside "Reseller Nameserver & Privileges" allow jetbackup and save your config as ACL.
Inside WHMCS reseller product - specify the ACL to use when creating the account, this will make sure to use your settings for all clients.
Thanks,
Eli.

I am selling backup as an Addon not as an hosting service, so there wont be any option to specify ACL for addons.
Why would any one create services such as "Reseller Hosting with Backup (JetBackup)". Backup will be an addon service to hosting services..

Hi,
True, makes more sense to use it as an addon. Yet, it's on the WHMCS to decide which ACL to choose when creating an account.
It can be easily done using a WHMCS hook. Create to ACLs on the cPanel/WHM side - one with Jetbackup and one without. Using a WHMCS hook - replace between the ACLs.
Thanks,
Eli.
