Full backup download filename change
Declined
Currently when you download a full backup file from JetBackup, it will name the file in the following format:
download_username_266_full_1508744286.tar.gz
Would it be possible in a coming update, to have the file format match one of cPanel's full backup/cpmove file accepted formats? This way the file could be restored onto a server without JetBackup and without having to rename the file first :)
cPanel's accepted full backup/cpmove formats:
cpmove-{USER}
cpmove-{USER}.tar
cpmove-{USER}.tar.gz
{USER}.tar
{USER}.tar.gz
backup-{BACKUP-DATE_TIME}{USER}.tar
backup-{BACKUP-DATE_TIME} {USER}.tar.gz
Thanks!
Hi,
While this cannot be implemented inside the core, we can add a post download hook point for you to write custom code to do whatever needed on your side.
Hooks system is planned, but currently no due date.
Unfortunately, I am declining this now.
Thanks,
Eli.
