Limit number of allowed snapshots per cpanel user.

Completed

The ability to sell additional snapshots is a sales opportunity.

Please add to the end-user's cpanel "Snapshots" screen something like this:

------------------

You are using 1 of 1 allowed Snapshots. [Click here if you would like to upgrade to more Snapshots.]

------------------

(The part in italic brackets about upgrading would only be shown if the user is one or two snapshots away from their limit. )

This feature request would require the ability to allow the admin to specify how many snapshots each cpanel user (and reseller?) should be allowed. Perhaps that could be an addition to the Permissions admin screens.

Also, it would be nice to add a brief description of what the "Snapshot" is, so the cpanel user can know what is this feature. (Our test users all asked us what this "snapshot" does, so we had to explain it to them. If you added a description, it would be more useful to the user, as well as more likely they will upgrade for more Snapshots…

Thanks!

Jim,

This snapshot limits is already implemented inside JetBackup 3.3 (soon to be release to EDGE tier), we are currently working on a new WHMCS module that will give you the option to sell snapshots to users.

As for your remark about the "brief description", I've created an internal issue about it for our developers (case #734) for implementation, please follow our changelog (http://changelog.jetbackup.com/) for progress.

Thanks,

Eli.
