I wanted to add that Orphan Backup Deletion can be disabled by Navigating to
Settings > General Settings > Days To Keep Orphan Backups > 0 (to disable deletion).
Locking a specific Orphan to override the setting and prevent deletion and is currently under consideration by the developers.

Could this potentially be extended to "lock" any specific backup so that it doesn't get overridden by the cron or backup task?
