pause backup when high load

I hope jetbackup has ability to stop or pause backup when server has high load.

This will help so much on busy server.

Hi dion adi,


JetBackup has the ability to control the restore load limits.


This can managed by:

In JetBackup 3.2 - WHM-> JetBackup-> Settings-> Performance Settings-> Restore Server Load Limits.

In JetBackup 3.3- WHM-> JetBackup-> Settings-> Performance -> Restore Server Load Limits.

Is the backup process running with regular priority or is it niced to a lower priority?

This was implemented in JetBackup 4.0.14 (Currently released to EDGE tier).
