Set maximum size of MySQL database

Completed - Needs feedback

Limit the size of MySQL databases, if its bigger than N GB, skip it. Mysqldump locks the database and will take the account's site down till it finishes. For busy sites that can be a nigthmare.

Hello,

Thank you for all of your support and interest in this feature. We are glad to announce that users can now choose to backup databases that meet a selected size threshold in our latest update, JetBackup v5.3.5 EDGE.

You can find this option when creating or managing a backup job under the "Backup Contains" section. Next to "Exclude Databases", there is an "Edit Excludes" button that opens up a window and lets users select a size threshold for databases to backup. The backup job will not backup any databases that exceed the selected size threshold.

We encourage you all to provide any feedback that will help us improve this feature in JetBackup.

Thank you,

JetApps Team
