Support for Interworx

David Kent shared this idea 5 years ago
Completed - Needs feedback

With the licensing changes over at CPanel we are looking at Interworx as an option to move to. Most of our the addons/plugins we use with CPanel also have Interworx compatability. Jetbackup is one of the few that doesn't. I would like to see Interworx compatability.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your continued patience with this feature request. As you may know, we recently released JetBackup 5 versions that are supported on Ubuntu and Debian Systems! With that being said, our developers have begun major implementations of JetBackup 5 for InterWorx and will soon begin internal testing of this version. After internal testing is complete the package will move to our QA team to perform another round of tests before being released to the EDGE tier. We still don't have an ETA for this release at this time but will provide further updates once the next big milestone is reached.

We appreciate everyone's patience and excitement and would like to encourage everyone to stay tuned for updates on our official channels.

Thank you,

JetApps Team

Hi James,

After reassessing our development roadmap, our conservative estimate for an initial public ALPHA release for Interwox is Q1 2023. Our main consideration for pushing this date is that we are currently updating our JetBackup codebase to PHP8. This upgrade is still currently undergoing internal QA and development.

Thank you,

JetApps Team

Jetbackup is not compatible with the Interworx 7.13.9 on Almalinux 8, as reported to support on April.

Any development on this issue?

Thank you in advance
