Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your continued patience! With the release of JetBackup v5.3.3 to the ALPHA Tier, we are excited to announce that we have added Microsoft OneDrive Support on JetBackup 5! This JetBackup 5 update includes our new Microsoft OneDrive Destination Plugin (EXPERIMENTAL) which utilizes our new and improved Backup and Indexing Engine that we are introducing in v5.3.0!

Please note that the use of our Microsoft OneDrive Destination Plugin is still considered experimental as we continue to push updates to increase its stability, efficiency, and versatility.

Hi Raisul

Thank you for your continued interest in this feature and support for JetBackup!

As you may know, our team has been hard at work developing our new core, JetBackup 5, which just had its new engine with incremental support for S3 destination released to 5.1 EDGE.

This new engine will be the basis to create support for other destinations such as Onedrive. Currently, we are receiving feedback on the new engine with S3 destinations. Once we complete the feedback stage (Approximately around the end of Q1 2021), our developers can then reevaluate the roadmap and work on support for Onedrive and other destinations starting with SSH.

We'd like to thank you again for your continued support of our products and please stay tuned for updates regarding the next major JetBackup releases!

Highest Regards,

The JetApps Team.

Hi Greg,

We appreciate your continued support. At the moment, our team is in the process of fine-tuning our S3 destination. However, once this is complete, we will be able to continue down our roadmap, which includes adding other destinations.

Thank you again, for continuing to support JetBackup. We will keep everyone posted with updates to come.

Best regards,

The JetApps Team

Is there any update yet for OneDrive destination backup?

Any update on this?

I see that support for Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive has been non-existent in JetBackup 5, and no development of any sort has been done on those... even though you've already got some of those plugins already fully developed for v4. Can't be that hard to port them over to v5 that it takes years to do so?

Hello Miso,

Thank you for your continued interest in this feature and support for JetBackup!

With the release of JetBackup v5.3 around the corner our next major destination milestone for JetBackup 5 is Google Drive. We are anticipating Google Drive support in JetBackup 5 to come sometime in Q1 2023.

Thank you,

The JetApps Team.

So, the request for Onedrive support (most likely something that 90% or people using jetbackup have 1 TB of unused capacity in...) is being ignored for 4+ years now?? How pathetic is that...

Hello Terry,

Thank you for your feedback! We understand your needs and share your enthusiasm for JetBackup 5 support for OneDrive! As of right now, we have a couple of milestones on our development roadmap that we'd like to hit (PHP8, Interworx/Plesk, Google Drive, etc.) before taking on a new destination. Rest assured, JetApps remains committed to creating software that reflects its community's needs, and will definitely be supporting more highly requested destinations in the future!

Once again we'd like to thank you for your feedback and your continued interest in JetBackup!

Best regards,

The JetApps Team

Hello Hasan B,

We are grateful for your ongoing support of JetBackup! While we do not have an estimate on OneDrive support at this time, we are pleased to announce that our upcoming 5.3.0 release will bring support for Google Drive to JetBackup. We are currently anticipating a Q1 2023 release for Google Drive.

Thank you,

The JetApps Team
